Memory Lane

I saw this on my sisters blog and thought it would be fun.

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together.
It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot. Anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people
leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty fun to see the responses.
If you leave me a memory about me, I'll check if you are playing the game
and I'll come to your blog and leave one to you.
It's easy just try it.

Gabbie, what the smiler she is! When Gabbie sees the camera she automatically goes into shy, frowny mode. Occasionally I am able catch her with a smile.
Maddie is an awesome forward!! She is not afraid to
get into the mix and get the ball. She is a very feisty soccer player.

Look at that form. WOW! That is all mom can say. Maddie has been playing soccer since she was 5. There are a couple of girls on the team that have played together since they were 6. It is reallly fun to watch Maddie and her team play. They were undefeated until the last 4 games of the season. They did finish the season in the upper bracket, spring season will be a blast to watch. I was lucky to catch her mid-shot.

The "Angelz" still smiling after the last game which they lost..barely. Watch out indoor soccer the Angels are a team to be feared...
Katie the awesome defender!
Now where is that ball, if only the forwards were not so good, I could get my feet on that ball and show the other team how it's done.
This season the Orange Flash played really hard. Katie's team is the youngest in their division, hence they didn't score a goal the whole season.

Gabbie loves the bath, whenI finally convinced to get out of the tub she was one giant prune.

That's the best "cheesy" smile I've seen

Indie, what can I say about Indie. She is adorable, fun and yes Indie should stand for very independent. She is always doing something to entertain herself...she is a bit mischievous, I wonder where she inherited that...I have no clue!

I can't believe Katie is 8

This is my special girl Katelyn May on her baptism day! I can't believe that she is 8, where has the time gone? It seems like yesterday that she came home from the hospital all small and tiny. I guess this means that I have to admit that I am getting older...
Her Baptism was wonderful and very memorable. Just as she was being confirmed the smoke alarm in the chapel went off. So we ended up heading outside to the pavilion for her confirmation. It was lovely, her Dad gave a wonderful confirmation. We had lots of family and friends around.

Help !!

Imagine this...A cool ocean breeze moving your hair from side to side. The sun gently warms your skin. The masues (insert name) starts gently massaging your shoulders, just as you start to relax and allow the drool to start falling. Off in the distance you hear someone yelling, you look up and you hear...(this is where you realize you were dreaming) in fact you are being beckoned with a slight tug and a very loud "MOMMY, MOMMY hep me, hep me! Mommy, hep me, my butt is fawing off!" For those of you who don't speak Gabbinese let me translate, "Help, my pajama pants are too big and they keep falling down".

Ok so does it make me a bad mother that I rolled around laughing for a couple of minutes before helping Gabbie pull up her big pj pants? Gabbie is always making us laugh. She is now 2 and some months old, she is somewhat potty training. Somewhat in that she can go #2 but usually chooses not to. Our timing was just right yesterday, I helped on to the toilet where she was successful. Gabbie hopped off the toilet and informed me that "I went poopies and now I flush the poopies bye, bye,". She is a nut, a very cute nut.
