Are We Done YET???? I'm BORED!!

Christmas Eve Festivities

Leave it to the Biesinger's to put together an impromptu, last minute get together. It was quite the event. What would Christmas be with out some arguing between Grandma & Grandpa, everyone (but me) late by at least 30 minutes, the yummy potatoes without the potatoes and and three bags of cheese, the nativity scene done with 4 kids, 1 reluctant teenager, and two oldies but goodies, the done deaf singing of Silent Night which we Biesinger's now know should be sung silently. The awesome hot orange cider, the hot chocolate machine a brewing, yummy ham, the beautifully decorated Christmas tree. The family unity that seems to be more abundant on Christmas eve as we gather as friends and family to celebrate the birth of the Savior and look upon the many blessings in our lives.

As hectic as our lives become the closer it comes to Christmas, I love this time of year. I love being with family, building those memories that will be remembered for years to come, the feelings of love and appreciation, the old traditions and the starting of new ones. Christmas is a lovely time of year, it is a time for pondering and giving thanks for all the wonderful blessings in our lives. I want my friends and family to know how much I love them and how thankful I am to have such great parents, siblings, friends and others that I hold dear to my heart. This year has been full of ups and downs, without such great support I do not know how I would have made as far as I have. My journey in life has been made easier because of the great people in my life. I love you all!!

Merry Christmas !!!

So here it is the end of the year or at least it is quickly approaching. I first want to say that im not huge on picture of myself but thought I should put on one here, for this post.

I had every intention of mailing Christmas cards this year but alas I have yet to do it and have procrastinated for many different reasons. Here are a few...
1. Have no clue where my address book is(and that would require me to actually look throughthe boxes and boxes that are piling high in the garage)
2. How do you send cards announcing your divorced? Not sure the tactful way to do it.
3. I can't remember where I put the cards I bought last year for super cheap after Christmas.
4. Stamps....

So those are my excuses, not very valid but I am going to using them to justify my laziness. So all of you that would have gotten a Christmas card, to you I say, "Merry Christmas and Happy New Year".

I laid in bed the other night and sleep eluded me, so naturally my mind began to think back through the last year. As luck would have it, 2008 was a very interesting and eventful year. I want to thank everyone for their love and support, prayers and positive thoughts. Being divorced has not been easy, but then I knew it wouldn't be. I have learned that your family is always there and my relationships with my siblings and their loved ones has been strengthened. I have also learned that you never know what tomorrow will bring so our today's need to be enjoyed to the fullest, life is too short to hold grudges, life isn't meant to be lived in the past....there are several sayings I can think of to sum up the last year. But this is what will say....I love my girls, I love my siblings, I love my parents, I love my friends and love those others close to me, and most of all I am thankful for the Love of my Heavenly Father.

Wishing you all a Happy Holiday....

CHEESE!!!

Smile!!

These are from our tradition of Pie making for Thanksgiving

Pictures....say cheese

We spent a couple of hours late one October afternoon saying cheese and smiling big smiles! I forget how hard it is to get everyone to smile and look at the camera all at the same time. Here are some of the better ones from that afternoon. I think we took around 200 pictures and 20 of them turned out...no we were very lucky to have a large majority of them turn out. Enjoy!!!

This is the one going up on my wall. It's my favorite.

We really had a great day of picture taking and saying cheese!

I'm a bit out of practice, I didn't quite make it across. We all laughed.
